This year has been so exciting to collaborate with Jaclyn Carol’s Dance Academy. I am glad to say how grateful we are to have 2 of their instructors’ teaching. One of the best parts of making this connection with Jaclyn is that our philosophies about dance align so closely.  

 

Since opening on Main Street in 1974 Miss Diane put all of her heart into the Newfane community. Myself as well as our teachers have continued to honor Miss Diane, the surrounding communities and our dance families by giving of ourselves through our love of dance. As the business grew, so did our dance families, and it has been such an honor to work with every one of them.

 

It has always been my hope and dream since taking over the business in 2001 to keep dance in Newfane. Many of our families know that since 2011, I have sacrificed my own family life to continue to operate Diane’s School of Dance.  The time has come to place our school in trusting hands that will continue our mission of making dance fun for all, regardless of age or ability. 

 

Our wish is that your experience is enjoyable as well as rewarding and to provide students with dance instruction that builds self-confidence, dedication, self- discipline, cooperation, and a positive self-image, just as Miss Diane nurtured her dancers to achieve.  I hope that you will all find the same comfort and connection with Jaclyn and her staff of amazing teachers, as the title of this year’s recital reflects, “From the Page to the Stage: The Next Chapter".

 

 I couldn’t be prouder of the studio, the talented teachers and loving families that I have worked with. I have the most amazing memories with all of you which I am so grateful for.  Thank you and keep on dancing!!
