Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy opened in 2008 in Niagara Falls, NY. We shared a small storefront with a community theater group in the Summit Park Mall. We had only 9 students. Our dance family has continually grown with us through 4 expansions. We are so blessed!

 

  We offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, HipHop, Pointe, Acro, Break Dancing, Contemporary, All-Boys Hip-Hop, Competition, and Modern Dance for all age levels and technique levels, including many ADULT CLASSES, between September and June!

We are delighted to officially announce that our JCDA dance family is growing again! Diane's School of Dance in Newfane is now a part of our JCDA family! Our staffs have joined forces to continue over six decades of quality dance education! We are so excited to have two amazing dance communities comes together across two locations, under one dance family.

Diane's School of Dance was founded by Miss Diane Zabel in 1955 at the age of 18. In 2001 her daughter Miss Melissa Zabel Murphy took over her mom's studio. They have been a cornerstone of the Newfane community for nearly 65 years! Now, in 2018 - Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy is humbled and honored to be picking up the reins to continue Miss Diane's family legacy by continuing fun, student-centered, quality dance education on Main Street in Newfane.

At nearly the same age some fifty years later, Miss Jackie at the age of 19 founded Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy in 2008. What started with 9 students in a shared space at the Summit Park Mall has since outgrown two other locations to 300 students at our present home on Niagara Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda. Our separate but parallel journeys of growth have been a winding road of many blessings - and we are very excited for the opportunity that welcomes us now to serve the community of Newfane.

God is so good, and so it is certainly no coincidence that Miss Melissa and Miss Jackie had their paths cross several times throughout the summer. A kinship was formed at a time both studios needed each other - without at first even knowing it!

 

All of us at JCDA have felt our passion for dance calling us to inspire students beyond our current community - making dance fun for all, regardless of age of ability. Miss Melissa is moving to be with her family and had been searching for someone she could truly trust to carry on her family's legacy and ensure the music and memories from Diane's School of Dance play on for many years to come. We cannot say enough how grateful we are to Miss Melissa and Miss Diane, to our personal families, to our amazing teachers, and to our dance community for your support and trust.

  Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy offers lessons weekly during the year, working toward our annual end-of-the-year recital. After their performance, the students enjoy a picnic where we can all celebrate their achievements!

 

  We achieve excellence by teaching thorough technique in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Students at our Academy are motivated to achieve their best because our teachers encourage them in positive, confidence-building ways! All of our staff members have trained with numerous nationally and internationally known performers. Our entire staff is also CPR and First-Aid certified.
